This is where i should be putting up gig information for the band they call "Slater".

Who knows? No idea when the next gig is.

Battle of the bands - i was soo fucked. ahh well. they were on first, and played really well, if my recollection is not too buggered up by the fact i was wangered. I think other people said they were good too. The shame is they lost, i think, i really am not sure. Did somebody say it was by one vote, or something, out of about hundred? or was i dreaming? its a shame they were on first, and everybody sucked too much to turn up and vote. In my eyes, they are still number one! I'd go through the set, but i don't have a clue what they did, even though i heard it on the two night previous to the gig, and the actual night. This should stop. I'm just rambling to cover the fact that i havn't got a clue what i'm talking about :O) Next time they play, you better go see them or i'll fuck you up.

Slater and some other bands, nobodys, at the Little Wonder

The all day gig on the 30th was very much a fun filled day. All the fun of the circus, and with bands playing too! What is a girl to do? Well, the day started well, as it was to continue, with beautiful sunshine. I was there stupidly early, so i saw all of the bands. I think it was big wheel first, can't remember though. Whoever they were, they seemed all right, but maybe needed to write some of their own stuff. It must suck starting early at an all dayer, when i'm a rock super star, i ain't opening any gig's. Korrupt were good (look at the pictures - one, two) but they only played a couple of songs, due to technical difficulty's. Mmmmm, no idea what order things happened in, uuh, definitive list played at sometime, and were good, because now they are a new and improved metal band. I liked that, i got some good pictures of them, especially a really good one of Craig rocking out. I think Nym were on at some point too, they are playing very tight now, which is nice, but somebody interrupted their set to say that the queen mum was dead, which was (and is) quite humorous. Oh, also at some point, a band i do not know called noodle played, and they were interesting, to say the least! They did an absolutely fantastic cover of ska wars by capdown, which was most gratifying, but i would have liked it were they to play more ska songs :o) Mike played too. I don't think i need to tell you quite how good chumleys sets are, unless you haven't seen one before, and if you haven't then you had better do. There, done with all the shit bands, now for the hardcore superstars Slater. I can't actually remember what songs they played (what a shity gig reviewer i am! ahh well) but what i do remember is all the fun of the crowd and atmosphere (as there always is). I especially liked the way that the stage was totally decimated, making it hard for the next band, who ever they were, to play. which just goes to show, Slater deserve that headline slot. All in all, despite my lacking memory, i think i can speak for the majority of people in saying that it was a really good day. I think it was very fun, because Slater are always ace, and because we really went for it.
